    Hi! I am a Canadian traveller and want to use USD to pay for things while at Disney. Cash is heavily discouraged as per my research. I have heard you can purchase a magic band and pay off the balance with cash. Please advise me if this is correct. Thanks!

    Sejal, you can most certainly use cash to complete dining and merchandise purchases in Walt Disney World Resort. The use of cash is not heavily discouraged. 

    Contactless options have been encouraged during the pandemic to help better preserve the health and safety of Cast Members and fellow Guests. However, cash has always continued to be accepted.

    MagicBands must be linked to a credit or debit card. At the current time, you cannot use cash to pay off balances associated with MagicBands.
