Well ahoy there Stacey, I'd like to wish you a very warm Canadian welcome aboard planDisney!
Whenever it comes to planning and preparing for a trip out to any Disney Destinations around the world, I love helping fellow Canucks find ways to save to help soften the blow of the exchange rate! In fact, there have historically been times of the year when special deals and discounts are exclusively released to Canadian Residents so depending on when you want to set sail, you may be in luck!
At the current time there are a few
offers that allow Canadian Residents to save up to 25% off on select sailings, which could work depending on which ship in the fleet you had your heart set on as well as the itinerary. It definitely makes sense that these are at a time of year when the cold starts to set in across the provinces and folks dream of escaping away to relax on deck under the sun! In fact, it appears that the current offerings take place during voyages that celebrate
Very Merrytime Cruises and
Halloween on the High Seas.
From what I can tell, many fellow aspiring seafarers from the North have already jumped at this savings opportunity so I highly recommend checking back for
Special Offers on the Disney Cruise Line website and logging in so that you are recognized as a Canadian Resident in order to see these discounts whenever they pop up! Now if you've already booked your cruise and it's one of the ones that currently have discounted rates available, I also recommend calling the
Disney Cruise Line Reservations Cast Members directly or your travel professional if you used one just to confirm. Be aware that certain offers and promotions have their own terms and conditions, and offerings are always subject to change without prior notice so it's just a good idea to double-check whenever possible, if not to see whether more discounted dates have opened up!
Taking advantage of these discounts can potentially result in massive savings, and it's definitely welcome at a time when there are currently no similarly Canada-special deals of the sort at neither
Disneyland Resort nor
Walt Disney World Resort as of July 2023. (We're all definitely hoping Canadians do get more deals in the future as we all venture south on our Disney Adventures!) I hope this helped Stacey,
come on back to planDisney again for any other advice, tips or tricks before you set sail!
Here's to getting better deals and discounts on deck!
