If we have a Canadian Resident ticket that expires December 16 are we still able to make theme park reservations with those ticket numbers before arriving in January? We understand we will need to upgrade the ticket once we arrive at the Parks.

    Hi again, Hayden!

Welcome back to planDisney. Thank you for asking us another Disneyland Resort question as you continue to make plans for your long-awaited vacation!

Unfortunately, because each reservation must be associated with a specific valid ticket, you won’t be able to make theme park reservations for dates that come after your linked ticket’s expiration date. Only the days that are available to you based on your ticket type, tier blockout days, and expiration date can be selected.

As you mentioned, you will be able to use the amount you originally paid for your unused theme park tickets as credit toward a new set of tickets by visiting a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth in person. If you’re hoping to make theme park reservations before then without buying brand new tickets online at full price, call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member about the possibility of upgrading over the phone due to the circumstances.

I hope this information helps, Hayden, and that your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of pixie-dusted moments and unforgettable memories!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
