Hi Cheryl,
A warm Canadian welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a question about the
Canadian Resident Ticket offer, I'm glad you discovered a way to save. Sometimes plans change and vacation plans need to be adjusted - let's take a look at the details.
When purchasing tickets to
Disney World Theme Parks, it's important to note that the tickets are non-refundable but, Hakuna Matata, no worries, you can indeed modify the dates and use the tickets later. To change the dates of your tickets, you'll need to phone the
Existing Tickets number and a Cast Member can help you get sorted.
The Canadian Resident Tickets are valid until September 27, 2025. If your new travel dates fall within this timeframe, you should be able to modify your tickets. For dates beyond this window, the tickets will expire, but the value paid will remain on your account and can be applied toward future ticket purchases. You'll still see your tickets in your My Disney Experience account but they will say "expired ticket". Please note that if you change your dates and the new tickets are priced higher, additional charges may apply.
I hope this information is helpful, Cheryl. I hope you're able to select new dates for your trip to Disney World and continue your planning for a magical vacation! If you have any other questions, please visit us again at
planDisney. We'd love to help.
Cheers,
Candace
