Hi there, Leanne! Welcome to planDisney.
As a fellow Canadian
and as a fellow Guest who has had to postpone a few magical vacations during the pandemic, I'm sending a Mickey-glove high-five to you. It's not a fun club to be in, but as fellow Mouseketeers, I'm happy to help you figure out your options so you can get to the Disneyland Resort just as soon as you can.
At the bottom of the
"Theme Park Tickets & Reservations" section of the Returning to a Land of Magic webpage, you will find a list of ticket types and their extended expiration dates. I sure understand the current border issues; I live in the U.S. now, but my whole family is in Canada, and I'm very impatiently waiting for warm hugs (and a giant order of poutine). While there hasn't been an announcement about extending those expiration dates, it's worth reaching out to a Cast Member to ask. You can use the
Email Us form; be sure to provide your ticket numbers for the most efficient assistance. You are also welcome to
call Ticket Services to speak with a Cast Member.
The good news is, if your tickets expire, you should be able to apply the value of your expired, unused tickets to the purchase of new theme park tickets when the time is right for your Disneyland visit.
Leanne, I hope this helps as you dream about crossing the border and entering a land of magic! If you have any further questions as you plan and dream, your pals here at planDisney are happy to help. I also enjoy reading the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news, planning tips, and fun stories that give me a little dose of pixie dust every day - and I hope you will too!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
