Hiya, Alana! Welcome to planDisney!
Hot dog! It’s always a great feeling to take advantage of some savings. As a fellow Canadian, I definitely love seeing
Special Offers to help with the vacation budget! You’ll be visiting at a great time, Alana. There are plenty of great offerings around
Walt Disney World Resort during the fall months.
You are correct! As of this writing, 5-day theme park tickets are valid for 8 days beginning on your selected start date. That means you can use your five days however you'd like within that 8-day use window. So, to answer your question, no! You don’t need to enter a park on October 4. You can use them on the first five days of your use window, the last five days, or split them up however you'd like! It gives you a ton of flexibility, which is great.
Halloween season is one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World, Alana. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which is held on select nights in August through October at Magic Kingdom Park. It features exclusive entertainment, Trick-or-Treat stations, fun snacks and merchandise, and much more! Plus, EPCOT hosts the
International Food & Wine Festival. You’ll find some delicious eats and sips at the various Global Marketplaces around the park. And there are some great artists and local acts nightly at America Gardens Theatre for the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
Disney Parks Blog routinely posts its Foodie Guide in the weeks leading up to the start of the festival. The
My Disney Experience app also usually features an Event Guide, which highlights all of the offerings at the festival. I always find both to be incredibly helpful when planning my festival visit.
I hope this answers your question, Alana! If you have any other questions as your magical vacation approaches, please don’t hesitate to bring them to my friends and me here at
planDisney. We’re always happy to help!
See you real soon!
