We are Canadian and do we need to fill in the ArriveCAN before embarking? And could we purchase internet before boarding into Wonder. Thanks

Greetings, and welcome back to planDisney, Louise!

How very excited you must be about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing on the Disney Wonder – I hope that one day soon I can explore Disney Cruise Line’s Alaskan, South Pacific, Panama, Baja, Mexican Riviera and Hawai'i itineraries!

Louise, according to the most recent ArriveCAN details, they require the submission of information within 72 hours before arrival to Canada, so please keep that in mind during your sailing. It would be a good idea to download and create an account on the ArriveCAN App in advance of your sailing to save time the day you have to submit your information. Please refer to Use ArriveCAN to enter Canada at canada.ca for more information often and even on the day of your sailing as information may change during these evolving times. As a fellow Canadian, I fully understand how concerning these logistics can be, especially out at sea.

Louise, regarding purchasing internet, on the day of embarkation you will have the opportunity to select a package through Disney Cruise Line’s Connect@Sea via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. As soon as you board, you will be able to access Disney Cruise Line’s DCL-GUEST Wi-Fi network where you will see the packages and prices to select from. When you purchase a package, it can be used on as many devices as you wish and the charges for the package will be billed to your stateroom folio. I checked my Disney account online and my Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for my upcoming sailings and I could not find any pre-purchase options for internet packages (subject to change). If you have any questions, please speak with a Connect@Sea Cast Member once onboard by visiting the Connect@Sea Desk near the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3 near the Aft section.

    Tips:
On embarkation day ask a Cast Member about any internet perks. In the past, Disney Cruise Line has offered 50 megabytes for free per stateroom via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on embarkation day (subject to change).

Consider adding a Disney Cruise Line Onboard Credit to your account in advance of your sailing by accessing the Onboard Gifts link once you are signed in to your Disney Cruise Line account. The credit can be applied towards just about anything that is charged to your stateroom account, such as spa treatments, beverages not included in your cruise fare, Port Adventures and more. I find this helpful, as it keeps me on budget.

On the day you need to complete your ArriveCAN details, I recommend being at the Connect@Sea Desk where you will be near a Cast Member for any support in the event of any internet connectivity issues.

Louise, please refer to Disney Cruise Line's - Know Before You Sail resource often, even up to the day of sailing, as information may change.

Louise, it was my pleasure assisting a fellow Canadian - best Disney wishes!
    Jacqueline
