Hi there Amanda, I'd like to wish you a great Canadian welcome back to planDisney!
I like being able to connect with fellow Canucks making their way down to the warmer weather often found at
Walt Disney World Resort, and also commiserate about the various perks or offerings that Canadians still currently miss out on ahead of these Disney adventures. While there's currently no telling when or whether they will ever mail things out again up North, I did take the opportunity to inquire with the friendly
Front Desk Cast Members down here in Orlando about how Canadians can procure these very much missed Magical Extras.
The Cast Members let me know that if you do not receive any
Magical Extras information via email or in the form of a downloadable PDF file, you should immediately speak with them upon your arrival. In fact, our friends and family visiting from Canada this year were recently presented with a number of things upon check-in including their
Theme Park admission media, but were also told that luggage tags were subject to availability and were not offered at that time. I hope that you have better luck on your upcoming trip in September; though offerings are subject to change without prior notice it does seem to vary quite a bit between Resort Hotels.
While you're down here, be sure to take some time to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which always seems to make
Canadian cuisine seem like such a showstopper year after year. (Like many northern neighbours and snowbirds alike, I'm sure we all look forward to the day when we can find magical things arriving by mail again; or at least some Canadian
Special Offers or discounts that would always be warmly welcomed.) Hope to see you
drop by planDisney again for any more tips and advice ahead of your next Disney adventure!
All the best on your quest to find the Magical Extras that you seek!
Prince
