I am a Canadian and we want to go to Magic Kingdom on March 1, 2022 but I’m worried our flight or trip could potentially get cancelled due to covid. Can I wait to buy my MK tickets until we arrive (Feb 26) or will they sell out?

Hey there Danielle and welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Canceling a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is probably the most Unmagical thing you could possibly think of but in these uncertain times, you have to prepare for anything. It's ok though because planDisney is here to put the pixie dust back in your trip!

It is absolutely possible for you to wait and buy your Tickets upon arrival when you're absolutely sure you can walk right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. But you know what I would do? Buy my ticket anyway! The great thing about going to Walt Disney World is that you can change the use date of your ticket. Just make sure you change that date in your My Disney Experience account before the day you're set to use it. That way even if you can't make it today, there's still a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day!

If everything goes according to plan and you can make it to the magic, do me a favor and have a sweet and spicy chicken and waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow for me. It's my favorite Magic Kingdom Park snack and it's right in Liberty Square. Plus it has a great view of Cinderella Castle and is a sweet spot to see characters passing by.

Danielle, don't let the uncertainty get you down. Just think of a wonderful thought and keep planning that trip!

    Keep dreaming!
