Hi. I am a canadian going DW Nov.26 to Dec. 5th we don't have dining package because we don't want to be committed to a time frame and reservations. Do you think this will be a problem getting into resturants without reservation during this time of year.

    Hi Cindy,

How exciting!  Your vacation is just weeks away.

November 26 is Thanksgiving in the United States.  The parks will be quite crowded, at least for the first few days of your vacation.  I think you'll see a significant decrease in attendance by Monday, November 30 as guests begin to return back to work and school.

As difficult as it may seem to tie yourself down to dining reservations, I recommend it to everyone.  It's more frustrating to wait for hours to be seated at a table or to be turned away because there is nothing available. Counter service may be your only option for Thanksgiving Day.

If you really don't want to make reservations, their are several restaurants throughout the resorts that MAY be able to accommodate your party without notice.  The World Showcase in Epcot is another good place to try for last minute dining options.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
