Can Canadian Disney gift cards be used to pay for my WDW vacation? And can they be used in the parks? Trying to find the best way to pay as an Ontario student! Thanks for any help possible!

Hello, fellow Canadian friend! It’s great to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bre-Anne!

To answer your questions yes AND yes! You can definitely use a Disney Gift Card which was purchased in Canada to pay for your magical Walt Disney World Vacation and you can also use it in Disney Theme Parks, Water Parks, Disney Resort hotels AND Disney Springs! Your Disney Gift Card will be loaded the amount you select in Canadian Currency, not USD$ (unless purchased online). The day that you use your Disney Gift Card, the exchange will be calculated based on the previous day's market-close exchange rate. What’s great about this is that there are no additional fees charged at conversion time like most credit cards charge!

In addition to this great news for Canucks, a new Special Offer has JUST been released for us! Canadian Residents can now save 20% on the advance purchase of 4-Day or longer tickets! These tickets can be purchased through February 10th, 2018 and are valid November 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018.

I hope this helps you with your planning and please come and visit us again soon!
