I am a Canadian citizen looking to come to Disneyland for one day only. What are my ticket options besides the special offer for Canadian residents?

Greetings, Manmeet, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you are planning to visit the Disneyland Resort soon. You're coming at a good time, since the 70th Anniversary Celebration is now underway. Let's talk about your ticketing options!

Manmeet, it seems like you are already aware of the Canada Resident Ticket offer, which provides savings on 3-, 4-, or 5-day tickets. You can check other offers on the Disneyland website, but if you're visiting for one day, you'd likely just get a standard 1-day ticket. And while a standard 1-day ticket (with or without the Park Hopper upgrade) is certainly an option, I did a little testing for early July and noticed that a 3-day Canada Resident Ticket isn’t much more than a 1-day Park Hopper ticket. I realize you may not have time in your schedule to visit for three days, but I wanted to throw it out there in case you want to take advantage of that offer and get maximum value out of your visit.

The Hours & Events Calendar lists entertainment schedules as far as six weeks out, so you can get information for July 8, 2025 already. If you are only at Disneyland for one night, I'd highly recommend watching the first showing of the Paint the Night Parade, followed by Wondrous Journeys, followed by Tapestry of Happiness. Head towards "it's a small world" an hour early to find a spot, and plan to watch all three shows from there. In my experience, it's a little less busy compared to other areas of the park, and you won't have to move to another location between shows.

There are some other fun events, too, like Stitch's Interplanetary Beach Party Blast, which starts at 5:30 p.m. in Tomorrowland, or the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, which happens twice a day in the early afternoon. While you're there, make sure to try some of the festive food – the Disney Parks Blog has a Foodie Guide that highlights all of the new offerings.

Since time is of the essence with a short visit, I also suggest using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. With it, you'll be able to access the Lightning Lane entrance for many popular attractions, which leads to less time spent waiting in line. You will get free PhotoPass digital downloads all day long with the multi pass, too.

Manmeet, even if you visit the Disneyland Resort for just one day, you'll have a chance to see and do so much. I wish you safe travels and lots of magical moments. If you have any other questions, please let us know – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
