At this time, Guests who reside in Canada cannot pre-order a DisneyBand through their
My Disney Experience account. This is the case even if the billing and shipping address on your account is a United States address as the system is location-based. However, there are usually plenty of options at the
merchandise locations at the
Walt Disney World Resort from which to choose. Also, if you're arriving at the Orlando International Airport, there is a selection in the Disney Store in each terminal!
While I know that this may be a bit disappointing, there will not be a shortage of options for you when it's time for your vacation. And setting up each band is quick and easy. Just make sure that if you are purchasing
the latest versions of DisneyBands, you perform the updates and charge them to full capacity before using the interactive features. But don't worry, you'll still be able to use the standard DisneyBand features without a full charge or update. For example, while interactions with
nighttime spectaculars will require it to be charged, it doesn't need to be charged to use it to open your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room door.
