Hello from Canada! Our family is looking to visit Disneyland in 2023 but we are unable to book vacation packages from the Canadian site despite the US site opening up bookings for 2023. Any ideas as to when this will become available? Thank you!

Hello, Cherly, and welcome to planDisney!

YAY! You're planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth and the good news is, that Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages are available for booking. As a fellow Canadian resident and Guest, I too, experience the odd little glitch when navigating official Disney websites, but I circumvent this by ensuring my profile on my Disney account is up to date, and when signed in, I often find it helpful to switch the country filter from Canada to the United States.

Cherly, when considering a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you will have the choice between a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package or you can consider a Good Neighbor Hotel Package - it all depends on your travel style and budget.

My advice when considering any package is to add the Disney Genie+ service option to your theme park tickets to save time waiting in lines, plus, when you purchase the Disney Genie+ service, you will enjoy unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads from your day.

My next piece of advice is to make your advance Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservations (you will be prompted to do this during your ticket purchase) for each day of valid theme park admission, as this is the process of visiting the theme parks at this time.

Lastly, when you book your vacation package directly through the official Disneyland Resort website, it should be linked to your account, which will enable the electronic delivery of your Travel ePackage to your Disney account 4-days before your arrival.

The Disneyland Resort Vacation Package – Travel ePackage will contain your travel itinerary, theme park tickets, and Magical Extras voucher. You will be able to access your Travel ePackage from your Disney account in a PDF format for printing by accessing My Hotel Reservations from the My Disneyland planning area, and then selecting the Print Travel ePackage, or, you can access your Travel ePackage from the Disneyland App by selecting the Feature Menu on the bottom right corner to access your Welcome Cherly page. Once on your Welcome page please select My Hotel Reservations and then tap the View Travel ePackage button to open your additional package details. Please look for and select the Get eTickets button. From this point, you should be able to view your eTickets in the Tickets and Passes tile on your Welcome page as well as redeem package components directly from your mobile device, such as the ability to see and access your Magical Extras button for mobile redemption of perks.

Cherly, I hope this information is helpful, and I can’t wait to hear all about your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package – you must pop back over to planDisney to let me know, and best of all, I can help you optimize your visit to make this the most magical vacation ever!

    Best Disney Wishes!
