I am in Canada and waiting for my families passports to arrive. Can I still check in using other travel documents and update my documents to include my passports later? We would like to check in as early as possible but worried we won't be able to.

Hello, Paula! Welcome to planDisney where my pals and I would love to help.

It sounds like you've got some fun plans just ahead on the horizon! I understand the desire to check in as soon as you are able to secure a port arrival time. I spoke with a Cast Member to confirm that you are able to check in using alternate travel documents. When your passports arrive, please call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 939-2784 to request that the moderation team assist you in updating your travel identification documents. They can remove the previously uploaded information and you will then be clear to upload new pictures of your passports. Disney Cruise Line can be contacted by phone from Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

I hope that information helps as you get your plans into shipshape. We're happy to assist you if you have any further questions, so sail back to us any time! If you haven't already done so, please be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You can use it to check in to your cruise, explore more about the offerings onboard, reserve cruise activities, and view the character-filled countdown till your voyage sets sail! Once onboard, the app will navigate you and your sailing crew to oceans of fun throughout your vacation.

    Have the best cruise ever!
