we are from canada we will be visiting walt disney in may we would like to find out what's the weather like around the first week of may? we are going may 3 to the 10.

    Hi Helen,

You are picking a good time to go (May 3-10), as you will be missing Memorial Day weekend (one of the "highest attendance" periods at Walt Disney World), and also Mothers Day on May 11th, which can get a little on the busy side.  The weather in Orlando in May can be hot and humid, or just warm. The rainy season usually starts in May, although that's not written in stone. Usually, if it does get rainy in May, it will be towards the end of the month. Be prepared to wear shorts, short sleeved shirts, and sun screen, bring a bathing suit, a rain poncho, and enjoy!  The average temperatures for May seem to follow this trend:  Record High 99F; Normal High 88F; Normal Low 66F; and Record Low 48F.  So if you are lucky enough to be in the mid range of "Normal High" and "Normal Low", you should be quite comfortable.  You should also check out the "Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival" which will be taking place while you are visiting ( March 19 – June 1, 2008).  I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
