Hi! We are from Canada and have a visit planned around Christmas this year. We want to it our daughters gift cards so they can buy food, treats or merchandise while we are there. Will they be able to use gift cards for this and where can I purchase them?

    Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, to my fellow Canadian! Thank you for asking us a question.

I have some great news for you: Disney Gift Cards are accepted throughout Walt Disney World Resort for almost every type of purchase you can think of! I actually find that it’s the perfect way to stick to a budget during our visits - when the card is done, the spending is done!

Because you live in Canada, you can’t pre-purchase Disney Gift Cards and have them sent to you at home. Instead, you’ll be able to purchase them at any gift shop or merchandise location when you arrive for your vacation. If you need any help, you can ask the Cast Member who will help you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or just walk over to any merchandise location and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you with your purchase.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
