I’m truly sorry that trying to purchase a
"premium" MagicBand upgrade for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort has been difficult. If it’s any consolation, I hear that Stitch has been making mischief for several Guests, including those from Canada, whenever they’ve tried to make their selections, too. Also, because this new option has been so popular with Guests, those
MagicBands often sell out within minutes of being restocked.
Here’s what worked for me when I chose our MagicBands for our last vacation: switch your
My Disney Experience page's language to “English - United States”. You'll find this option beside the page's search bar, in the top right-hand corner. I had much better luck that way, rather than leaving it on the default “English - Canada” setting (the page defaults to your current location), and was able to complete my transaction without an error message.
If you still don’t see any premium MagicBands, don't give up! Keep checking a few times a week before your vacation and that option may pop up again. And, don’t forget, because your MagicBands can’t be shipped to your Canadian home address but rather will be ready for you to pick up at your
Disney Resort Hotel when you arrive, you can keep checking up until about a week before your arrival before placing your final order.
