    We are from Canada and planning our first Disney trip for the 18/12/11 - 21/12/11 and have heard that this is a busy time. Are the American schools out for Winter break at this time? Would it be better to go after Jan 1/2012?

    Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel! Many of the schools are already beginning their winter break at this time. If you do have the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World after the 1st of January, I would definitely take advantage of it. You would be visiting during what is considered a "low attendance" period. You would not have to deal with the crowds that you would normally see during December. Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.
