Ahoy, Barbara! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for bringing us another Disney Cruise Line question. I see that my friend Dustin already gave you some
advice on the timing of your flight on debarkation day, but you still need help arranging your ground transportation in
Vancouver.
Disney Cruise Line offers
ground transfers between the Canada Place Cruise Terminal and the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on both embarkation and debarkation days. The cost is currently $28 per guest one-way, but that price is always subject to change. You can add round-trip airport transportation to your reservation online, but you must call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532 to add a one-way transfer. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Be sure to have your reservation number ready and they will help you add ground transportation just for debarkation day.
I personally prefer to arrange my airport transportation through Disney Cruise Line directly because it is one less thing for me to worry about on debarkation day; however, private transportation and rideshare options are also available at the port. Keep in mind that the travel time between Canada Place Cruise Terminal and the airport is approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Since your flight time falls within Disney’s recommendation for flights out of Vancouver, their ground transportation will get you there in plenty of time.
If you have any other questions before you set sail in June, we are always here to help at planDisney. I know you will have a fantastic time on your Alaskan adventure and will enjoy everything that the
Disney Magic has to offer. Happy sailing!
