I am in Canada looking to buy a Disney gift card as a wedding gift. I would prefer to purchase in US so they get the full amount of the giftcard (instead of losing some of their "gift" to exchange rates). How do I share the link with them?

    Hi Lori,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I think it’s a lovely idea to send some newlyweds a Disney Gift Card as a wedding present. I was a Disney Bride, and I can tell you that the gift cards that we received during our honeymoon after the ceremony.

If you aren’t opposed to sending them a “virtual” gift, you can send a Disney Gift Card by email very easily. All you’ll need to do is pick your design, the amount for your eGfit, check out and then Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! You’ve become a Fairy Godmother for the happy couple and they now have a gift card that they can load onto their mobile phone and use at most merchandise and dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort. And, because all eGifts are sold in US Dollars, they won’t have to deal with that pesky exchange rate when they use their card.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
