Here’s the scoop:
DisneyBand+ can’t currently be shipped internationally if you’re ordering directly through Disney, which I know can feel a bit like Ursula snatching away Ariel’s voice—not exactly the news you were hoping for. And while you might spot some tempting options online from third-party sellers, I’d advise caution. Once a DisneyBand+ has been linked to someone’s Disney account, it’s locked tighter than the Cave of Wonders and
can’t be transferred to another Guest.
But don’t let that sink your plans! There are a few good ways for international Guests to snag one:
• Onboard the ship – Once you step into Mickey’s Mainsail (or another onboard shop), you’ll usually find three or four exclusive designs, often themed to Disney Cruise Line. These can sell out, so I always suggest making this one of your first stops after embarkation. Think of it as your opening-day quest—like hunting down the rarest pin or popcorn bucket!
• Before you set sail – If your voyage begins from Port Canaveral, a stop at Disney Springs or even a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can be a great option. While the design variety won’t be as wide as shopping online, you’ll still find some fun styles. If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may even be able to order a band
through the Disney Store to be delivered there. Resorts usually
charge a small fee for package delivery, and you’ll want to allow plenty of time for shipping so your band arrives before you do.
No matter where you purchase it, once your band is linked to your account, it’ll unlock plenty of magic onboard—from stateroom entry to making onboard purchases and even lighting up during deck parties. My family loves how it keeps us hands-free while still feeling like part of the story.
