I am in canada and if I was to buy canadian Disney gift cards. Could I use them online to purchase magic kingdom park tickets?

    Hiya, Samantha! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you’re planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short weeks. How exciting! As a fellow Canadian, the warm weather is coming, just not nearly fast enough. An escape to sunny Florida is a great way to fix that. I like your style!

To answer your question, Samantha, you can absolutely use Disney Gift Cards purchased in Canada to purchase Walt Disney World Resort tickets. I have done this myself several times. With that said, here are a couple of things to keep in mind. When you make a purchase, it will automatically convert Canadian funds to USD. You will also be limited to using two forms of payment per transaction. This means that if you were to use a Disney Gift Card and a credit card for any remaining balance, you would only be able to use one Disney Gift Card in that transaction.

With that said, you can visit the Disney Gift Card website and combine your Disney Gift Cards into one, up to a value of $1,000 on a single card. You would then be able to use the combined balance in one transaction. Or if you prefer, you can also contact the Walt Disney World Resort directly to make a purchase. A Cast Member will be able to assist you in making your purchase with multiple Disney Gift Cards.

Your visit lines up with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, Samantha. In my opinion, EPCOT is at its most beautiful at this time of year. The Disney character topiaries and sprawling garden displays throughout the park are truly stunning. The level of care and attention to detail that goes into these projects is so inspiring. There are also so many great eats and sips to enjoy at the Outdoor Kitchens! Disney Parks Blog has a Foodie Guide that highlights all of the available menus. Check it out to see if anything catches your eye that you’d like to try during your visit!

I hope this answers your question, Samantha! If you have any other questions in the week leading up to your trip, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney. My fellow panelists and I are always happy to help!

    See you real soon!
