I see campsites at Fort Wilderness are pet friendly. Are the the cabins?

Hi Anthony! The Fort Wilderness Cabins are a wonderful way to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation. They offer such a unique and different way to spend your time when not in the parks.

There are indeed several loops located in the Fort Wilderness campsites that are designated as pet loops. Strict rules must be adhered to such as no barking and pets must remain on leashes at all times. These designated campsite loops are the only place Disney guests may bring their pets with them to stay. There is a no pet rule for all Disney resorts including the Fort Wilderness cabins unless the animal is a certified service dog.

If you are traveling with your dog you can check into availability to board it at the on property Best Friends Pet Resort which is located just five minutes down the road from Fort Wilderness. Many guests board their four legged family member and come each day to play and spend time with it so it knows you have not forgotten it. We have used Best Friends many times for our dogs and we love the people and service and facilities.
