Does The Campsites at Fort Wilderness allow late check out past 11:00am? If yes, is that something you can request on your reservations or only allowed by calling day of?

As they sometimes say in the wilderness "Howdy Elizabeth!" and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such an important question about your upcoming plans to stay within the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World Resort.
Over the yEars I've adored staying within the tranquil setting of The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and can happily say this beautifully rustic Resort truly is one of my families favourite spots to stay on Disney property! Although to date I haven't yet enjoyed camping under the stars at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort I am more than happy to share that Guests may Check-in to the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort from 1pm with Check-out being prior to 11am plus I'm pleased to say yes it's always possible on the day of departure to place a request for a later check-out time with the friendly Cast Members at Front Desk Services. However do please bear in mind that although Cast Members will do their very best to accommodate all Guest enquires including those for late check-outs - requests can never be guaranteed and in my experience are usually based on current availability.
Wishing your family a more than magical rootin' tootin' upcoming stay at "The Fort!"
