Hi James,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. You have picked a fantastic time to stay at
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! During the holiday season, Guests often decorate their sites and golf carts in amazingly creative ways. On our Easter visit this year, we saw a site featuring a line of life-sized Stormtroopers led by Darth Vader…and they were all wearing Easter Bunny ears! SO much fun.
I love that your kids are coming to join you – there is truly nothing like a family vacation at Walt Disney World! I checked in with a Cast Member, who said that the question of space for your RV and their car really depends on the site you end up with. She assured me that even if the site can’t accommodate both vehicles, there is parking convenient to all the sites. My advice is to explain your plans to the Cast Member who assists you when you’re checking in; they are knowledgeable about the sites and can assist in making sure it all works out.
James, also note that the car will count as a second vehicle on the site, so they will be charged the
overnight parking fee of $13 per night, including taxes. This parking fee will be added to your resort folio upon check-out. As a Walt Disney World Resort Guest, parking in the theme parks will be complimentary.
I hope you and your family enjoy your stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. I always love visiting this resort during my vacation, because it is such a tranquil and relaxing place to be in the midst of all the Walt Disney World excitement. Enjoy your time together in that peaceful place!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
