We are going to be camping at the Wilderness. We have a character dining at the Contemporary for breakfast. From what I see, we can take the boat from the Wilderness to Magic Kingdom and walk to the Contemporary. Is that right, time? Have a 2 year old.

    Jennifer:

We're going to hit the easy button on this one!

There is not only a boat that leaves Fort Wilderness for Magic Kingdom but another that will take you directly to The Contemporary!  When you get to the fort's pier, the Magic Kingdom ferry will form a line to the left, and the boat to the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge will be on your right!  The ride will take no longer than 10 minutes, but allow yourself at least 20 minutes just in case you need to wait on the boat and another 10 minutes to make your way from The Contemporary's pier to the restaurant.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
