    Camping at Fort Wilderness in 3 1/2 short weeks. Are there irons and ironing boards in the laundry rooms at the bath houses?

    Hi Peggy! I had to think long and hard about your question but came up with the fact that there aren't irons and ironing boards in the Fort Wilderness comfort stations. There are laundry facilities and vending machines to purchase detergent and fabric softeners etc. plus a long table for folding and sorting.

    The Fort Wilderness cabins each have a small iron board and iron in the closet. We are campers ourselves and when we need something dry cleaned or pressed we head to the front desk and ask for a laundry bag just as you would for any other Disney resort. If you have it to them by 8am it will be returned back to you around 5pm that same day. As all hotel laundry services can be it is not cheap but for us to be able to save some time and enjoy the parks it is always worth paying for this service.

    Your only other option would be to bring a portable small iron and try using the table in the comfort station to press something you need done.  Good luck and hope it all works out for you!
