Camping at Fort Wilderness in September. Will be going to the Polynesian for the Luau. Does the boat go from Fort Wilderness to the Polynesian or will we need to take the boat to MK and then get on the monorail?

    Hi Victoria!

The boats do not go directly from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to the Polynesian Resort but you can get there by taking a boat from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you are at the Magic Kingdom entrance, then you can take a boat to the Polynesian Resort or the Resort Monorail to the Polynesian Resort for the Luau.  I would recommend planning for at least 45 to 60 minutes for this journey using Disney Transportation (you may be able to get there quicker than 45 minutes if you do not have to wait long for each boat or the Resort Monorail to come).

I hope that all of your travels and meals are totally magical on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
