We are camping at Fort Wilderness Campground in April. I read that you can build a campfire at the campsite if you bring your own contained fire pit. Can you confirm this?

    Hello Linda!

The answer to your question is YES!  You may build a campfire at your campsite using a contained fire pit.  I spoke with a Cast Member, and she said the fire pit must have a one foot mesh surrounding the pit to catch the embers, and it must have a removable solid lid top.
