We are camping everywhere and will have Kayaks with us at Fort Wilderness. Are you allowed to use your own Kayaks to go through the canals and lake? Thanks.

Hi Kevin!  You all are "camping everywhere"?  Really?  Wow, that's very exciting!

You are going to love camping at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!  You know, one of the great things about camping there is that they provide almost everything you could possibly need or want on your vacation.  How's that for roughin' it, "Disney-style"?

I am sorry to report that the Walt Disney World Resort does not allow the use of privately owned watercraft within their waterways.  However, they DO offer a tremendous fleet of motorized and non-motorized
watercraft rentals, including kayaks and canoes, for your personal use.  You can find these available for rent at the Downtown Disney Marketplace and most of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, including Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Have a wonderful time, and don't forget to pack your bug repellant!  Just please make sure that it's the kind that does no harm to our friends, Jiminy Cricket and Flick!
