Where in the campground at Disney world park is the best area pick for your vacation? Can you pick where you want to stay in campground? Thank You

Hi Darlene! Camping at Walt Disney World is an incredible experience. The Fort Wilderness Campground offers its guests so much to do while enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Campers can choose from a few different types of loops. If you are camping in a tent they have a specific tent loop which includes two comfort stations and a bus stop at the loop. The pads are great with plenty of space to put tents in safely.

If you prefer more concrete and bringing an RV you can choose between a full hook-up, preferred, or premium loop. The Full Hook-up loops will have 2/3 of the pad in concrete and 1/3 with sand and are generally the furthest loops from the pool and trading posts etc. The preferred loops are actually the oldest loops but they are also the most convenient to the Pioneer Hall area where you catch the boat to the Magic Kingdom. The Premium loops are my favorite as they are the longest full concrete pads for those with the larger motor coaches. The loops are spread around so there isn't a particular one that is better then the other. All sites will have picnic tables and grills.

You can find the loops on the Fort Wilderness map and you can request a loop but it is hard to request a particular site. Hope this helps and hope you have a great time camping at the Fort!
