    I would like to see the camp sites decorated in Ft. Wilderness. Am I able to drive my personal vehicle through the site? I have a daughter in a wheelchair and she would like to see it. We will be down from 22 Dec to Jan 1 to enjoy the parks.

    Hi Alvin,

    I have no doubt that you and your daughter will love the Christmas displays at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.  Essentially, you have two options for viewing the decorations at this resort.

    1.  You could park at the entrance to the resort and then board the wheelchair-accessible internal resort buses.  This is the option Disney would prefer that you take.

    2.  When I called the resort today to ask if you would be permitted to drive your own personal vehicle through the campground loops, a Cast Member told me that you would likely be permitted to do so if you explain your situation to the Cast Member who greets you at the entrance gate.  They simply ask that you drive very slowly and carefully as there are pedestrians everywhere at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and they can be hard to detect in the evening. 

    Whichever option you choose, I'll be sending pixie dust your way for a truly magical holiday visit to Walt Disney World.
