Calling TREX directly was great advice. We r landing @11:55 4 our 1st time at WDW. I plan on checking in PO FQTR, going 2 TyLagon until it closes, the Showers back at POFQTR. We have 2 young kids. What time do think we should RSVP at the Trex? Thanks

    Hi Mark!

Wowza!  You have a busy first day planned!  Per the Typhoon Lagoon calendar, the park closes at 5pm.  What I suggest doing is showering at Typhoon Lagoon.  They have very nice facilities.  Just bring your soap/shampoo and your change of clothes.  Head on back to your resort, drop your stuff off and then hop on a bus over to T-Rex Cafe.  Walt Disney World suggests giving yourself an hour and a half of travel time to get anywhere, which you might actually need since you will be traveling around dinner time and you are leaving a water park at closing time.  I think a dinner reservation around 7:30 - 8pm will be ok.  To save yourself even more time, bring a tote bag to Typhoon Lagoon, ask the gift shop for a plastic bag for your wet clothes and bring them to dinner instead of dropping them off at your hotel.  A quicker route is to take a bus from Typhoon Lagoon to Saratoga Springs.  From there you can either take a walk (you will probably be tired at that point) or a ferry boat right over to Downtown Disney.  You can check-in for your reservation if you get there early and you may even be seated early too!  If not, take your kids over to the Lego store and let them play until dinner time.  Or perhaps in the sand dig at the restaurant.

    Have a magical first visit!
