Hi, Robert!
Great question!
My daughter is vegetarian and I've spent years advising my vegetarian high school seniors before we head to
Walt Disney World for our senior class trip. You'll be thrilled with the choices you have in vegetarian dining!
When choosing Quick-Service dining locations, we stick to those with the most options, since only one is vegetarian. In many places, you can ask for an entree without the meat portion, such as
Magic Kingdom's Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe's fajita platter or southwest salad. Other vegetarian-friendly options at Magic Kingdom can be found at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (veggie burger) and Columbia Harbour House.
Favorite QS
Epcot vegetarian options are at Sunshine Seasons, La Cantina de San Angel and Tangierine Cafe. Over at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, Starring Rolls Cafe and Min and Bill's Dockside Diner offer our favorite vegetarian options.
Disney's Animal Kingdom's best QS vegetarian options are at Flame Tree Barbecue (watermelon salad), Restaurantosaurus (black bean burger) and Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes (roasted veggie couscous wrap).
When dining at a Table-Service restaurant, you can customize anything on the menu (we often order a favorite pasta without the protein); most will feature at least one vegetarian entree, too. I recommend California Grill, Tony's Town Square Restaurant, Le Cellier, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and Tiffins and Sanaa for excellent vegetarian options.
...and now I am really hungry.
Enjoy!
