Just called WDW and changed our trip. It's our first split stay adventure between AoA-Cars & WL in 2 week. Any advice on making the split easier with two kids 8 and 3? It appears WDW makes this tough with 2 reservations/ meal plan split etc. THANK YOU!

    Hi Debbie!
Wow, you have picked two incredible Walt Disney World Resorts to stay at during your next vacation! It is not really a hassle to move to a different Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. I have done this very thing multiple times and it is quick and easy. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
    1. Your Magic Your Way Tickets will be on your Keys to the World Cards (Room Keys) of the first Walt Disney World Resort that you stay at so you will need to keep these Keys to the World Cards for the whole vacation because the will give you access to the parks (your park tickets). I would highly recommend marking them with a black sharpie pen so that you can tell them apart from your Key to the World Cards from your second Resort. Keep in mind that on the second half of your vacation you will need to carry both sets of Keys to the World Cards with you at all times.
    2. If you have a Disney Dining Plan, the Dining Credits from your first Resort will expire at midnight on your check out day so be sure to use them all up before then. You will not receive your Dining Credits for the second Resort until you check in to that Resort. Disney treats a split stay as two separate vacations.
    3. Disney will transfer your luggage from the first resort that you are staying at to the next one for free. Just take your luggage to bell services or luggage services the morning that you check out of your first resort and give them your name and the name of the Walt Disney World Resort where you are transferring to. You can have all your luggage transferred while you go to a Park with only a backpack or small bag and then check into your second Resort after check in time. After you check in to the second resort you can pick up your luggage at that Resort's Bell Services or have them deliver it to your room.

I hope that you have a magical trip and a comfy stay in two great Walt Disney World Resorts!
    Keep Dreaming Big!
