    When I called the RunDisney number to make room reservations, the hotel I want was sold out. However, this hotel still has rooms available through general Disney reservation system. Is there a benefit to booking thru RunDisney rather than Disney website?

    Hi Bethany!

    It depends on which race you are booking for.  Some of the race weekends offer runner discounts on rooms that can only be booked through the 407-WDW-IRUN number.  Marathon weekend in January does not.  So, if you would rather book at your preferred resort, then go right ahead.  You will still be able to use the Disney buses to all race weekend events (if it is a host resort).
