Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Cindy. It looks like your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is quickly approaching! How exciting.
The
Disney Resorts Collection features legendary storytelling and immersive theming, just like the theme parks do. They often offer fun activities and unique experiences too! Painting classes had started to become very popular among Guests and were beginning to pop up at several Disney Resort hotels. Unfortunately, those offerings are not available for the time being as part of
Disney's phased reopening. You are correct that Disney's Coronado Springs Resort offers Sangria University. I personally can't wait to experience this special experience!
My fellow panelist, Amy, has lots of details on Sangria University. Check them out if you think you'd be interested in booking this activity! Aside from Sangria University, I'm not aware of any Resort hotel activities that are available to visiting Day Guests (Guests who are not staying overnight) at this time.
I think just stopping by a Disney Resort hotel is activity enough! I love to check out the unique theming and the incredible dining options of the Disney Resorts Collection. One of my favorite resorts to visit is
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It boasts one of the largest collections of African art in the United States. You can enjoy an incredible meal at
Boma - Flavors of Africa, and then get an up-close view of the animals on the savanna! Another great stop is
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Grab a DOLE Whip at
Pineapple Lanai, and then stroll down the beach for a beautiful view of Magic Kingdom Park in the distance.
I hope this was helpful, Cindy. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
