I called and purchased 13 tickets to Disney for my family. When I linked the account to make a park reservation in mydisneyexperience.com, it only lets me reserve the park for 10 guests. How can I link all of my guests to the reservation?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Tracy. We're so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a Disney vacation!

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with a big group is sure to be BIG fun. I once had to plan a visit for 14, and it certainly made the planning process a bit more complicated! I'm sorry to hear you've experienced some difficulty booking everyone's Theme Park Reservations. Let's see if we can get it sorted out for you! I've only booked Theme Park Reservations for my immediate family of five, so I reached out to a Cast Member to see what could be the trouble. She did some research and informed me that Guests can only make Theme Park Reservations for up to 12 people in a travel party at a time. That doesn't explain why you couldn't book for more than 10, but nonetheless, we have a solution! When you book your travel party's Theme Park Reservations, split your group into two smaller parties. For example, first book for six members and then book for the additional seven. If you continue to experience any difficulty at all, I encourage you to call the My Disney Experience Team at (407) 939-4357. A friendly Cast Member there will be delighted to assist you!

You may find you need to use the same booking strategy when making dining reservations for your party of 13. When I was making my extended family's dining reservations, there were a few instances in which I had to split our party up into two smaller groups. I simply made two reservations for the same time. When we arrived for those reservations, I let the Cast Members at the check-in stands know that we were actually one party, not two. They made sure we were either seated together or seated at nearby tables!

As you count down the days to your visit, be sure to review the Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website. It has lots of important information about the health and safety measures being taken in and out of the theme parks.

I hope this was helpful, Tracy. Please let us know if you have any other planning questions!
