    I called to order Disney Dollars but my card didn't work so they told me about Disney gift certificates but all I can find is the Disney gift card. I wanted to gift certificate because i can trade them in for Disney Dollars when we arrive. Can you help?

    Hi Mark! My family uses Disney dollars on every trip to Walt Disney World. We actually play a game at each meal with them so we go through a lot on each trip. 
    I suggest you wait until you arrive and purchase them either at your resort or at a Guest Relations window at the parks or Downtown Disney. You can only charge on a credit card up to $50 but you can exchange for Disney dollars for any amount using cash. Sometimes they will only let one person get $250 at a time but I have found this depends on cast member who helps you. The Guest Relation windows are a better place if you need large amounts as the resorts usually don't have much. You can purchase either ones, fives, or tens. They have not made any new ones for the last few years but no one caress when it comes time to shop!
