I have called every week for months for the Fireworks and Dessert Party in May. They told us that it didn't open until April 19th so I called this morning. Now they say that the whole month is booked. How is this possible? What can we do? This isn't right!

Hi Maria! I am so sorry this has happened to you. I have been frustrated by the reservation system for the Tomorrowland Dessert Party since it began. There doesn't seem to be a real pattern of how long in advance you can make these reservations so it does put us in a tough way when advising the guests.

We have been told that they can open this dining reservation up anywhere from 30-120 days in advance. Most of the time it seems it is more like the 30 day window but you just can't be guaranteed of that. It means you need to call once a day which is not convenient for most guests.

I would certainly keep calling back each day to see if this was indeed released yet. Sometimes the system will say it is booked because it hasn't opened up to anyone. Even if it has been booked out you can sometimes catch a cancellation especially when it gets closer to your dates.  Your other option is to go immediately to the Guest Relations desks in the Magic Kingdom when it opens and put yourself on the wait list for that day. They have told me that sometimes they can handle a few walkups each day due to cancellations or open tables.

I am so so sorry for this not so magical happening and hope that it can all be resolved with just a couple of phone calls. You might consider trying to get a fireworks cruise that night from one of the Magic Kingdom resorts. That is another very special way to watch the great Wishes show.
