I called to make dinner rsvp at the Rain Forest cafe (Anim King). Was told that I could make a rsvp, but the seating was "separate seating". We passed, since we do all want to sit together (there are 5 of us). Has anyone had this problem?

    Hi Susan,

Every time I've made reservations for a party of 5 or more, I've been given the speech that we may be seated at different tables.  Although I suppose it could happen, our family has always been seated together.  With very large parties (10 or more) it's more likely that the party will be split up -- even then, I've always been seated near everyone in the group.

Disney does their best to accommodate families and groups of all sizes.  My guess is that your family of 5 will more than likely be seated together, even if they have to push two tables together to keep you from being separated.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
