I called and asked a chat person what the pin number on a postcard was used for, he said a discount, I asked did he mean the discount advertised on the postcard and he said yes. Is that correct, I think anyone can get the free dining plan, so what is the p

Hi Diane, Disney sometimes provides incentive to book a room by providing a PIN code via email or a postcard. The PIN number is usually a discount off a room price. There is currently a free dining offer going on for select travel dates later this year. Guests taking advantage of the free dining offer generally have to pay full price for their room. This offer does not require a special PIN. It really makes sense to do some math and figure out which type of offer makes the most sense for you, a full price room with free dining, or a discounted price room with regular dining. If you're interested in the free dining promotion, you should call back the reservationists at 407-W-DISNEY and ask specifically about that program. Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.
