Well hello Ms. Montana! Welcome to planDisney! What an honor to get to chat with you a bit about Disneyland!
This is such a fantastic question, and I love how you're thinking! I'm always looking to maximize the magic during my time at the Happiest Place on Earth too. Did we just become best friends?
The end of August is one of my family's favorite times of year to visit Disneyland, for so many reasons. And this year,
Halloween Time is scheduled to return August 22! It's around this time when Disneyland Resort will pause some of its 70th Anniversary offerings to make room for all the eerily awesome fun. So, Ms. Montana, your best bet to experience the "best of both worlds" would be arriving in the parks a few days before August 22, as there is the potential that the 70th Anniversary offerings could still be happening then. However, that said, it's important to know that the entertainment schedule isn't released until about six weeks out and this is just my best guess. The entertainment schedule can also change at any time.
I encourage you to check the
Daily Events Schedule on the Disneyland website as your visit gets closer. The Daily Events Schedule is an incredibly helpful resource, not only providing an entertainment schedule for you, but also includes attraction closure information, park hours, as well as the events occurring during your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific dates and park at the top.
I hope this information has been helpful! And remember, if any other planning questions come up, anything from how to utilize the
Disneyland app to where to find the best seasonal treats, please don't hesitate to
reach out to me! I'll always be here, cheering you on, Abby... I mean, Hannah!
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you the most magical visit!
McCayla
