When can I call or go online to make a reservation for Christmas 2026 at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds.

Welcome to the planDisney Roundup, Wanda!

It’s so nice to meet you, and thank you for stopping by. Celebrating the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort is truly enchanting. The twinkling lights, the Characters in their holiday best, and the seasonal offerings are just a few of my favorite things to enjoy during the holidays. This year, my family has decided to spend the night partying during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We are so excited! I think my little ones have finally reached an age where they can enjoy the evening and stay up the entire time. I cannot wait to see their faces!

Speaking of waiting, I know it is tough but hang on just a little bit longer. I did take a look at resort availability and it looks like booking is available from now through October 2026. I anticipate the calendar will open up for the remainder of the year fairly soon so hang tight. In the meantime, you can still plan and save for this visit with the help of Disney Gift Cards. I like to start budgeting for our visits by purchasing Disney Gift Cards throughout the year. You can then use those gift cards towards your purchases made at Walt Disney World Resort. Wanda, you can even use it towards your resort reservation as well!

As you wait for the availability calendar to open up, I recommend adding the Disney Parks Blog to your favorite tab. This is where you can find the most up to date information on all things Disney. You can also continue to check the official Walt Disney World website periodically for openings. Once that calendar opens up, you’ll be good to go and book your stay.

Wanda, I can’t wait for your time to come! If there’s anything else we can help with, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Happy planning and see ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
