Who can I call to discuss planing a vacation for 19 people

    Welcome to planDisney, Brande.

You've got some serious planning ahead of you! After booking a trip for 19 people, you'll be a certified "expert." I'm sure you're in for a really fun vacation. The Fall is a truly enchanting time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. My wife and I did a Disney honeymoon in the Fall and we loved all the Halloween décor around the Theme Parks. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you stop by Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs for a delicious caramel apple! In the words of the Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, "Yes! One bite and all your dreams will come true."

If you'd like to book a vacation for a large group, I'd recommend calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. You can speak to a helpful Cast Member who can make reservations for your large party. They can put a vacation package together for you that includes accommodation and Theme Park tickets. If you let the Cast Member know what your budget is, they should be able to find something that is practically perfect in every way.

Another option, Brande, is to find an authorized Disney vacation planner. There are many no-fee agents who can help you plan and book your vacation in the most cost-efficient way.

Planning for such a large group can really feel like going "into the unknown." Therefore, as you move forward, let me suggest some tips for planning a Walt Disney World vacation for a large party:

    • Nominate an organized person in the group to lead in planning ahead (maybe this is you).
    • Budgets and travel styles should also be considered, with expectations being communicated beforehand.
    • Make sure you plan times to be together as a big group and do your own thing.
    • Let each person choose one must-see attraction.
    • Use the new Disney Genie service to help you plan your itinerary. Consider purchasing Disney Genie+ and/or Individual Lightning Lane entrances to cut down your wait times.
    • Make sure you carve out some downtime so that you can relax (this is especially important if you're traveling with young kids).
I hope that's helpful, Brande. Thanks for stopping by planDisney. See ya real soon!
