Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Beata! Thanks for stopping by with your first question today. It looks like you’re heading to
Disneyland Paris in just a couple of weeks’ time, how exciting! It also sounds like you’re thinking about becoming a Disneyland Pass holder, which will give you access to a year of magic!
To purchase a
Disneyland Pass, you can either visit the Disneyland Pass ticket office at the entrance to Disneyland Park, or give Cast Members a call on +33 1 60 30 60 53. If you buy your pass at the ticket office, it’ll be active from the day of purchase. If you purchase by phone, a voucher will be sent to you by post. This voucher will then need to be exchanged on your first visit at the ticket office for your physical Disneyland Pass. The voucher must be exchanged within two months of purchase, and your final pass will be valid from the date you exchange it.
As your planned visit date is quite soon, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing by phone, as in my experience, sending post from the United Kingdom to the United States can be slower than
Flash the sloth from
Zootopia processing paperwork at the DVLA, and I imagine post originating in France is pretty similar.
Prior to 12th February, you can still purchase passes from the current programme, subject to availability, via the
French Disneyland Paris website, which is understandably only available in the French language.
If you do decide to become a Disneyland Pass holder, you’ve picked the best year to do it.
Disney Adventure World opens on 29th March, and it’s set to be the biggest expansion at Disneyland Paris in at least 20 years! From the all-new World of Frozen, to Adventure Way and the exciting new nighttime spectacular Disney Cascade of Lights over Adventure Bay, there is so much to look forward to.
I hope this helps answer your question today, Beata, and that you have the most magical time visiting Disneyland Paris. If you’ve got any further vacation planning questions, please
reach out to me. I’d love to help!
See you on Main Street, Paris!
Matt
