My California’s Dl and passport is expired. I’m concerned about entry into Disneyland park. Would I still be able to use a SoCal ticket? What other types of proof of residence could I use? Temporary paper license? Bank statement?

Hi Friend! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Some admission tickets or passes for Disneyland Resort require a valid government-issued photo ID for entry. The SoCal Ticket Deal, which offers eligible Guests more access to the magic at a fantastic price, is among those. You must be able to prove your current residence in an eligible ZIP Code to use this amazing deal. Therefore, an expired form of identification is not valid, unfortunately. I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping for today! There is no alternate form of proof of residence beyond an ID. You can either apply for a new ID and wait for it to arrive or visit with an admission ticket that doesn't require proof of residence.

If you do visit prior to receiving your new ID, also be aware that an expired or temporary ID will not allow you to purchase alcohol at Disneyland Resort, however. You'll need to wait until your new ID arrives to try some of the adult offerings at Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. There are great treats and eats to savor and delicious non-alcoholic beverages to try too. Grab a Sip and Savor Pass for convenient sampling. The pass is digital this year! And what about some of the out-of-this-galaxy offerings that have just landed for Season of the Force? I need a Death Star glow cube! There's so much to try that you'll need those extra days in the park for them all.

    Have a magical day.
