How can California residents get reservations and tickets to go to Disneyland in May?

Welcome to planDisney, Ilene. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question!

I see you’ve already heard the amazing news of Disneyland Resort theme parks’ reopening. Luckily for us Californians, we are able to be among the first folks to “return to a land of Magic”.  It’s been so long since we strolled down Main Street, U.S.A., listening to the Dapper Dans’ serenades.

As you know, Disneyland Resort recently announced it will open its gates for the first time in over a year on April 30, 2021! With that important date just around the river bend, I have a strong hunch we will hear additional details soon regarding new tickets sales and how Guests can make park reservations. I’m hoping you’ll soon be able to solidify the plans for your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in May!

I recommend occasionally checking Disneyland.com and Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news. Additionally, you can also follow Disney’s social media accounts, like Instagram and Twitter so you don’t miss a beat.

Please visit us again on planDisney when we hear more updates. We’re all EARs to help you plan your return trip to the Disneyland Resort in May!

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
