Are the California resident tickets still available? We are planning a birthday visit for a 23 year old The week of Oct 16, 2023.

Hi Cynthia! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

The special ticket offer available this summer for California residents has expired. It was a fantastic value for eligible Guests, so I understand your wanting to see something similar pop up for this season. Unfortunately, I haven't been given access to Madame Leota's crystal ball, so I can't say whether a new offer will become available or not. I wish I knew! If I did, I'd be letting my California friends know they should get themselves over to the parks for all the Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort fun as often as possible!

I'd suggest updating your profile on Disneyland Resort's website to make sure you're receiving all communications, follow the Disney Parks Blog, which is the official news source for the parks, and check on the Offers & Discounts page for all discounts available to you and your group. There might be something that will become available or you might be eligible for a different type of discount, which I don't want you to miss out on!

I love celebrating birthdays at Disneyland Resort. All of my family members have celebrated their special day at the parks, and I celebrated mine this year at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Be sure to pick up a Complimentary Birthday Button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park, or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park, so everyone will know they're celebrating. I received so many happy birthday greetings from Cast Members and Guests alike. We also celebrated by booking a special dinner reservation at Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park, which is one of my top two dining choices. A sit-down meal can be a great way to pause and celebrate, and reservations are currently open. One fun option is to add a Mickey Celebration Cake with a celebratory message. And be sure to take lots of pictures! The Disney PhotoPass photographers are such pros at capturing the moment, and this will be a celebration to remember.

I hope you all have the best time!
